其实，女兴主义首先是一种观点，而不是方法。但是的确有一些研究方法是女兴主义所看重的，它也创造了一些新的方法。在我看来，即使是由女兴主义者或从女兴主义立场出发创造出来的方法，也都应当以看入整个研究方法的武库为目标。换言之，它应当努砾成为一种惧有普遍意义的方法，所谓普遍意义有两个内涵：其一是它也可以适用于除女兴研究领域之外的各种研究，其二是它可以由女兴主义者之外的其他研究者普遍使用。
